Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

This policy explains what PadiTV stores when you watch, listen, upload, comment, subscribe, go live or pay on PadiTV, and the choices you have.

2. Age check

PadiTV is for people aged 13 and over. When you sign up we ask for your date of birth. If you are under 13 the sign-up stops on your device: your details are cleared from the form and nothing is sent to us or saved.

We do not keep your date of birth after the check. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.

3. What we collect

Account: your email address, sign-in method (email, magic link or Google), password (stored only in scrambled form we cannot read) and, if you turn it on, your authenticator app setup.

Channel: channel name, username, avatar, banner, description and any verification badge. These are public.

Content you add: videos, Shorts, songs and releases, cover art, thumbnails, lyrics, captions, posts, comments, playlists, sounds, live streams and song-rights claims or licence requests.

Activity: watch history, views, likes, subscriptions, Watch Later, notification settings, searches and playback quality reports (such as buffering and chosen quality) used to keep streaming smooth.

Payments: Monime handles payment details. We only keep the order or subscription reference, amount, status and, for song licences, the 50/50 split between the song owner and PadiTV.

Staff records: proof files for verification requests, reports you send, and a security log of admin actions and access checks.

4. How we use it

To run the service: stream video and audio in the right quality, count views, show your library and history, send in-app notifications and process payments and payouts.

To recommend videos based on what you and similar viewers watch. We do not use outside advertising trackers, session recording or tracking cookies.

To keep PadiTV safe: limit repeated failed sign-ins, sign out inactive sessions after 30 minutes, review reports and act on copyright notices.

To send newsletters only if you are on our mailing list. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.

5. Where and how your data is stored

Your account and content are stored with our cloud hosting provider. Uploaded videos, songs, thumbnails and verification proofs are kept in private storage; others can only reach a file through a short-lived link when it is meant to be visible to them.

Access rules on our database mean you can only read and change your own private data. Staff tools are checked on our servers and every admin action is logged.

Videos may be sent to our video processing partner to create the different quality levels. Fonts and app files are served from PadiTV itself.

Videos you download for offline viewing are encrypted and stay only on your device.

We keep your data while your account is open. Payment and security records may be kept longer where the law requires it.

6. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share only what each provider needs: cloud hosting and database, video processing and streaming, Monime for payments, and our email provider for newsletters and account emails.

Your public channel, public videos, comments and likes counts can be seen by anyone. We may disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

Copyright notices: when you send a takedown notice or counter-notice, we may share it, including your contact details, with the other side as the law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

In Settings you can edit your profile, change your password, turn on an authenticator app, sign out of every device, turn off notifications and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your channel, uploads and history.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.

8. Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
